BULLETS: Hornady .250 gr. SUB-X in .357 (notice pre-cut splines) OAL: 2.350" POWDER: H4895 with 19.7 Grains. Rem. 9 1/2 Primers. Hodgdon's posted data. F.P.S. : Hodgon Test Barrel @ 1,062. SSK 20" Barrel @ AVG: 1,029 DISTANCE: 25 Yards with 3x9 Nikon Scope (@ 3X). Check comments next week for 50 Yard results. FUN: OFF THE CHARTS!

FOLLOW UP: October 12, 2024. H4895 with 20.8 grains. From the above 20" SSK TC averaged 1081 fps. SD: 21. Last 3 shots were basically in the same hole at 50 yards. This will be my go to subsonic load for short range whitetails here in Michigan. Hodgdon posts 19.7 grains of H4895 - as always, proceed with caution.
